Build failing, how can I install Katana?

Mar 12, 2014 at 10:12 PM
Hello, I just want to install katana webserver but I can't since build is failing.

What I do is clone the repo and then do build command.
C:\Users\User\Desktop\katanaproject\tests\Katana.Performance.ReferenceApp\Katana.Performance.ReferenceApp.csproj(138,3):

error MSB4019: The imported project "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v11.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk. [C:\Users\User\Desktop\katanaproject\tests\Katana.Performance.ReferenceApp\stylecop.proj.user]

Hmm, that project might assume you have VS2010 installed. You can unload the project, and/or edit the references from 11 to 12 if your using VS2013.

Hmm. I have VS2013 installed. I didn't even open the project, just ran build from command line.

So any info on this? Maybe I can build it within the vs2013 itself? Or maybe I can get binaries from somewhere?

The binaries are available on nuget.org and myget.org (nightlys, see https://katanaproject.codeplex.com/).
